Recycling Exchange
MAGNET's eco-SMART Recycling Exchange is meant to be a kind of "Craig's List" specifically for manufacturers. It connects manufacturers who wish to recycle unused material with manufacturers who can make productive use of such material.
For example: Instead of paying to transport and dispose of unused materials in a landfill, a manufacturer can use the eco-SMART Recycling Exchange to make a connection with another company that may be able to use those materials in its own manufacturing process.
Posting is easy. Just complete the fast and free registration process, then create a listing. You can choose among 10 broad category tags:
- Bio/Food Waste
- Chemical
- Construction
- Electronics
- Glass

- Paper
- Other

All postings are forwarded to a staff moderator and will appear on the site within 2-3 business days.
Recycling Exchange users can browse all listings or search by keyword.
When a user identifies a posting he or she is interested in, they click the "Connect Me" button and complete the free registration. MAGNET will forward that user's contact info to the author of the listing. The two parties can then make direct contact to see if they can work out an exchange.
After the match, MAGNET's only involvement will be an eventual follow up call to the author of the post to see if the matchup resulted in a positive economic impact.
